London Allocations
Allocation process for London 2026 has closed. Please contact your local employing region for any information.
KSS allocations
Allocations are opening on the 2nd July 2026 at 12pm and closing on the 6th July 2026 at 11am. You have until then to rank the practices. You will have received an email with the complete instructions on the allocation process. Please ensure you have completed your ranking before 6th July 2026 at 11am..

The allocation code in Oriel, relates to an allocation code on the spreadsheet. The practice information is on the spreadsheet.
Matching to practice
The algorithm will match candidates with any practice, it is based on your rank. Please note that you can be matched with any practice even if you have not ranked it. This is not an error of the system.

Please note that some Allocation Codes relate to the same Practice and Educational Supervisor. This is not an error. Each Allocation Code represents a separate placement and should be ranked individually if you wish to be matched to that placement. Failure to rank an Allocation Code may mean you are not considered for that specific placement.

We appreciate that this may cause some uncertainty; however, we have already provided all the information available to us at this time. The Dental Core Training National Recruitment Office (DCTNRO), based at NHS England (NHSE) working across the East Midlands, co-ordinate the nationally agreed process for recruitment to Dental Core Training (DCT).
