Dental Foundation Training (DFT) National Recruitment – Scheme Information

Expressing preferences will be completed via the Oriel online recruitment system. On 3rd May 2022, eligible applicants will be able to log into the system and submit their preferences and will have until 31st May 2022 to complete. Applicants are advised to look at this Scheme information carefully in order to make informed decisions on preferencing. Once the preferencing window closes no changes can be made.

Dental Core Training (DCT)

The Dental Core Training National Recruitment Office (DCTNRO), based at Health Education England (HEE) working across the East Midlands, co-ordinate the nationally agreed process for recruitment to Dental Core Training (DCT).

There are three levels of Dental Core Training Programmes:

  • Dental Core Training Level 1 (DCT1)

  • Dental Core Training Level 2 (DCT2)

  • Dental Core Training Level 3 (DCT3)
