Welcome to the London School of Public Health

The School of Public Health – London is part of NHS England’s Postgraduate Medical Education function and is responsible for the delivery of specialty training in public health across the London region. We support registrars from entry at ST1 through to the award of their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

Our registrars work across a diverse range of settings — from London local authorities and NHS trusts to national bodies, academic institutions, and international organisations. The breadth of training opportunities available in London is a distinctive strength of our programme.

The School is led by a Head of School supported by three Training Programme Directors, each responsible for a cohort of registrars and a set of placement host organisations. Together, we work to ensure every registrar receives a high-quality, personalised training experience.
