Differential Attainment

The causes of differential attainment (DA), by which we mean the gap between the attainment levels of different groups of doctors in recruitment, exam pass rates, and ARCP outcomes, are not fully understood and neither do we know what interventions are fully effective in addressing it. However, The Professional Support Unit (PSU) has produced several Differential Attainment resources, based on conversations with Deans, Deputy Deans and others, in the hope that these resources will assist in addressing the issue.
